There may be a fair number of feuds in Hollywood, but there are also plenty of thriving friendships. Not everyone knows what it is like to be famous, so only a limited number of individuals can commiserate over the difficulties and celebrate the successes together.
Many celebrities have non-famous friends whom they love and adore. Others like to keep their social lives to the A-list crowd. These ten celeb pairs have found solace in their friendships, and they're just as close in real life as they are on social media.
10 Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez
Selena and Taylor have had each other's backs for a long time. Longtime Disney Channel fans will remember that Selena was once besties with fellow actress and singer Demi Lovato.
They grew apart significantly over the years, and Selena and Taylor only got closer, consistently supporting each other's musical efforts. For example, Taylor listened to Selena's Rare album before it was released. Fans know there must have been plenty of compliments from Swift to Gomez over the special album.
9 Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon
Whether they are making Christmas wreaths or traveling to New Zealand, Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon are tight.
They were in A Wrinkle in Time together with Oprah and really hit it off on set. The pals are always happy to share each other's successes on social media and celebrate one another anytime.
8 Ashley Tisdale and Haylie Duff
They weren't on the Disney scene at exactly the same time, but Haylie Duff and Ashley Tisdale ran in similar circles and became quite close. As Hilary Duff's sister, Haylie spent some time on Disney Channel in a guest role on Lizzie McGuire.
Ashley's Disney Channel history is more established and took place a few years later with High School Musical and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, not to mention Phineas and Ferb. Duff and Tisdale post about one another pretty regularly on Instagram, and they'd probably be seeing more of each other if it weren't for a global pandemic.
7 Justin Timberlake and Nikki DeLoach
Hallmark fans will recognize Nikki DeLoach as one of the Christmas queens. She has some awesome rom-coms out there and is a great actress, but one of DeLoach's besties might be a bit surprising. She worked with Justin Timberlake on The All New Mickey Mouse Club, but the two tween stars had much more in store.
Justin obviously found widespread fame as a member of N'SYNC, but fans may not know that Nikki was initially on a similar trajectory. N'SYNC con-man Lou Perlman also founded girl group Innosense (yes, with an "s"). Nikki DeLoach was set to sing in the group with Britney Spears, but it just didn't work out. All these years later, Justin Timberlake and Nikki DeLoach are still tight, and DeLoach loves Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel.
6 Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston became close on the set of Friends, but their relationship is not limited by the one decade that the show was on the air. Jennifer Aniston finally got an Instagram account in 2019, and she and Cox post about each other from time to time.
They protect each other, lift each other up, and have become like family at this point. Fans can't wait to see them on screen together once again with the upcoming Friends reboot.
5 George Clooney and Julia Roberts
George Clooney told People that he and Julia Roberts "just keep stitching" their lives "closer together."
They have worked together many times and first met on Ocean's Eleven. Though they have separate families and careers, Roberts and Clooney love to hang out and seem to have a friendship that only gets richer with age.
4 Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland
It doesn't get much more A-list than Beyoncé. The performer has been a household name for two decades, and she worked hard to get there. Beyoncé is still quite close to Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child.
Before the two were formally known as Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé's group was initially called Girls Tyme. They competed on Star Search and did not win, but the show offered them a big audience as they were getting their careers going.
3 Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah have known one another for three decades now. When Jada Pinkett Smith was a teenager visiting a Baltimore club, she found out that Queen Latifah was about to perform.
Pinkett Smith found a way to introduce Queen Latifah, and the rest is history. In addition to their strong friendship off-screen, the two have gotten to act together in films like Set It Off and Girls Trip.
2 Mary J. Blige and Taraji P. Henson
Though it should have arrived much sooner, Taraji P. Henson celebrated her new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019.
Mary J. Blige attended joyfully and praised Henson for bringing the sunshine. Henson is a big fan of Blige, too, telling Oprah that she lives her best life through the song "Just Fine."
1 Sarah Jessica Parker and Andy Cohen
The spunky host of Watch What Happens Live is super close with actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
Andy Cohen met the celeb when he was a producer on The Morning Show for CBS. He sang Parker's praises back in 2015 and acknowledged his powerful friendship with her.
