QUEEN of the Castle, Giovanna Fletcher reveals just how important her secret signal to her sons was while she starred on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
The 35-year-old, who was crowned winner of the most recent ITV series was criticised during the show for breaking rules to send a message to her three boys.
Giovanna would hold her thumb to her nose and wiggle her fingers to show her sons sons Buzz, 6, Buddy, 4 and Max, 2, with McFly singer Tom Fletcher, that she was thinking about them.
Now, Giovanna has hit back at her critics and said doing the signal not only meant a lot to her sons, but she loved that I'm A Celeb hosts, Ant and Dec, also got in on the action.
She posted a pic of herself on Instagram leaving the castle wearing her winner's crown of flowers and carrying the winner's pole.
In the fun pic she is triumphantly doing the hand signal to the camera.
She captioned the post: "Yes... I know it was clocked šš. I tried to find a discreet ‘signal’ with the boys so they knew I was thinking of them while I was away... They’re 6,4 and 2, so subtlety (like a little ear tug) wasn’t going to work on them.
"We decided to go big. š I can’t tell you how much it meant when @antanddec started doing it back! ššš¼ it’s certainly the little things that get you in there!!"
Giovanna added that she was already feeling nostalgic about her time in the Welsh castle.
"I know, I know... I’ve become one of those people who harps on about the past, but I can’t help it! This time one week ago I was sat around the @imacelebrity camp fire with @vernonkay and @jordannorth1 - two amazing men who made me laugh endlessly in the castle," she wrote.
"Vernon was thoughtful, hilarious and smart while Jordan filled us all with pride as he took on each new trial with more and more courage and bravery.
"The whole experience would’ve been completely different if it weren’t for my superb camp mates (who I love endlessly)."
She finished the post: "❤️ Oh to be in a bubble in Wales!! Xxx"
Giovanna might be feeling nostalgic for her time in the castle, but she has plenty to look forward to as the career opportunities come rolling in thick and fast.
She just landed her first TV role with CBeebies since leaving I'm A Celebrity.
Mum-of-three Giovanna left Gwrych Castle after enduring horrifying Bushtucker trials before she was announced as the winner.
As presenter of the kids TV show, which was inspired by The Baby Club, she will invite toddlers to sing and dance along from their living rooms.
CBeebies hopes the programme, which Giovanna has fronted before, will help parents find useful ways to teach shapes, numbers and simple everyday activities to their little ones.
Mumma Gi and Nigel will be joined by teddy-bear characters Benjee Bear and Bailee Bear, dubbed the Toddler Twins.
Giovanna said: "As a mum of three lively young boys, I'm all too aware of the challenges facing parents at home and the importance of parent to toddler contact and play."
"While families are still unable to visit toddler groups in person, I'm hugely excited to share The Toddler Club At Home with everyone so that they can join in, in the comfort of their own homes."
