Reformation, the sustainable, celebrity favorite clothing brand, is bringing its sunny, LA style to Houston’s Montrose Collective development in 2022. It’s the latest stylish addition to the Lower Westheimer coterie of shops and restaurants.
Effortlessly feminine, with the occasional edgy touch, Reformation’s eco-friendly business model is a perfect fit for the Montrose Collective, a development also centered around innovative design and sustainability.
Reformation balances the water and waste used to make its clothing, making it a 100 percent carbon-neutral company. It also partners globally with green factories. Small, limited-edition collections are produced weekly, and additional pieces are made only if there is demand for it.
What started as a vintage clothing shop in Los Angeles has evolved into a head-to-toe brand with inclusive sizing. Between its easy-to-wear styles, and commitment to sustainability, Reformation is a design darling among models and stars such as Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner, Natalie Portman and Taylor Swift, with collections for work, wedding, vacation and lounging.
The new 2,400 square-foot Houston boutique will channel some of that West Coast vibe, thanks to Montrose Collective’s open spaces that welcome sunlight and greenery. Reformation’s flagship Bayou City store will be located at 1001 California Street.
“We are ecstatic to welcome Reformation to Houston,” Steve Radom, managing Principal of Radom Capital, says in a statement. “Our goal was to bring unique, first-to-market names to the neighborhood and we can’t envision a better tenant for the project than Reformation.”

Montrose Collective will eventually house shops, restaurants, fitness studios and office space, plus more than 40,000 square feet of green spaces and patios, set among preserved heritage live oak trees, textured walkways, murals and more than an acre of communal garden rooms.
Reformation’s new store is scheduled to open early next year.
