Lady Gaga dishes on 'making out' with Salma Hayek in cut 'House of Gucci' scene
The world missed out on a steamy "House of Gucci" scene featuring a Lady Gaga-Salma Hayek makeout session. Gaga, who plays Patrizia Reggiani opposite Adam Driver's doomed Maurizio Gucci, revealed new details about the cut scene on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Jan. 24, explaining that she wanted to try having Patrizia kiss her friend, Pina, after the two learn the hitmen Patrizia's hired have successfully killed her ex, Maurizio. The whole scene was ultimately cut for time reasons, "but it was an awesome scene," Gaga said. "All [Pina's pet] cats were following her, and Salma, in order to get the cats to follow her, she put a bunch of catnip in her boot," the singer recalled, laughing. "So Salma's walking around the house and the cats are following her … and then we were surrounded by cats and we started making out, and I made out with Salma Hayek!" After admitting she felt like that "really annoying kid in school that's bragging that they made out with the popular girl but has no proof," the star explained how the kiss came about. "I was like, 'OK, listen. So, before we do this scene, I just want your consent to do something together.' And she's like, 'OK, OK, OK. What do you want to do?'" Gaga recalled. "And I said, 'OK. So I was thinking, you know, after the hit gets put on Maurizio (Adam Driver) and you get the phone call that he's dead, that I walk over to you and kiss you. And she's like, 'What?!'" She said they brought the idea to director Ridley Scott and producer Giannina Scott, Ridley's wife. "And so then we asked them and they were like, 'Yeah, sure, try it.' And we did it." Gaga's up for Best Actress for her "House of Gucci" performance at the 2022 SAG Awards in February and the Critics Choice Awards in March.

Kanye West claims he stopped a second Kim Kardashian, Ray J sex tape from coming out
After Kanye West and his new girlfriend, Julia Fox, hit a runway show at Paris Fashion Week on Jan. 24, Julia made their romance extra-official by giving the couple their own celebrified, if stutter-inducing, portmanteau. "Juliye," she declared on her Instagram Story alongside a picture of the pair. But the pronunciation of "Juliye" — not to mention, "Juliye's" obvious riff on Kim Kardashian and Kanye's "Kimye" nickname — aren't the only awkward things about the post. Julia's "Juliye" pronouncement landed the same day Ye's full interview on the "Hollywood Unlocked" podcast was released. And as it turns out, he spent much of the appearance talking about his ex, Kim, who's moved on with Pete Davidson At one point, Ye addressed rumors there was a second sex tape of Kim with Ray J from 2007 in existence, saying he personally retrieved the computer the footage was on and returned it to Kim. "I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night," Ye said. "I met this man at the airport, then got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning. She cried when she saw it," he continued. "You know why she cried when she seen it on the laptop? Because it represents how much she's been used. It represents how much people didn't love her, and they just saw her as a commodity." A rep for Kim, meanwhile, tells Page Six there was "nothing sexual" on the laptop. "After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip. Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists," the spokesperson said. "After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter with focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform."
Kristen Stewart teases possible weekend wedding with Dylan Meyer
Kristen Stewart could be a married woman as soon as next week. On the Jan. 24 edition of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," the "Spencer" star, who announced her engagement to screenwriter Dylan Meyer in November, admitted she's not big on the wedding planning process. Asked what it's been like to organize the event during the pandemic, Kristen got a far away look in her eyes, then said she kind of just wants to "have a big party or something" because she's "so unceremonial." After a pause, she added, "I think we might just go do it this weekend or something … and then, like, just hang out with everyone afterwards … I just want to do it," she explained. "I'm not a good planner. I can't make plans for dinner. I like to pivot. You never know where I'm going, man," Kristen joked. The actress, 31, went public with her engagement news during a chat with Howard Stern last fall. This week, she confirmed on "Live With Kelly and Ryan" that she and Dylan had managed to throw an engagement party, "which was nice and lucky and obviously not something we could have done now, so I'm thankful for that."
Tiffany Haddish addresses DUI arrest
Tiffany Haddish addressed her recent brush with the law on "The Tonight Show" on Jan. 24, joking that her suspected DUI arrest was due to God having misunderstood her prayers. "I can say this, Jimmy," she began. "I've been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four … in uniform. … I was not expecting that at all." The audience laughed and clapped as the comic added, "And now I got a really great lawyer, and we're going to work it out. I've got to get my asking of things to God a little better!" Tiffany, who split from her boyfriend of one year, Common, in November, later explained that she'd been dealing with lots of grief in the weeks leading up to her Jan. 14 arrest. Her grandmother — who raised her — died, as did two dear friends, Bob Saget and Carl Craig. Her dog passed away recently, as well. "[Bob] was like a big mentor to me, a big brother, a father figure," she said. "He meant a lot to me. Funny man. He was the first white man to ever tell me, 'Just be yourself, just be who you are, Tiffany. Don't worry about nothing. Just be you.' That was huge for me. And then, my grandma passed away, and she saved my life. That's my heart. She was like my soulmate," she continued. "So that's been … really hard to process, all this … Grief." Jimmy offered up the idea that Tiffany could channel the grief into her work, and she told him she "definitely" would. "My next special is going to be about grief," she declared. "And it's going to be hilarious."
Drew Barrymore says she was 'depressed' after her pregnancy news leaked
Drew Barrymore still remembers the "traumatizing" experience of having news she was pregnant with her first child leaked by paparazzi before she was ready to tell the world she was expecting. Speaking to political staffer and former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin on her show this week, Drew recalled, "I was walking out of my OB/GYN and I had just found out I was pregnant. I walked out of her office and someone I work with, Chris Miller, got all these calls, 'We know she's pregnant. We're breaking the story.'" She said she soon learned she'd been photographed leaving the doctor's office. "I was stupid enough to carry the sonogram in my hand out with me," said Drew, who shares daughters Frankie, 7, and Olive, 9, with ex Will Kopelman. "I was depressed or saddened, kind of, that I didn't get to have that be a private thing, a moment, or just to wrap my head around it," she explained. Huma said she, too, had her pregnancy news revealed in the press without her consent and it filled her with "so much rage" that anyone but her would control that narrative. "When people find out your deepest, darkest secrets … it's so traumatizing," said Drew. Ahead of Drew's second child's birth, she spoke to People about the pregnancy, saying she'd felt "stalked" when she was expecting Olive.
Disney will 'avoid reinforcing stereotypes' in 'Snow White' after Peter Dinklage's criticism
Disney announced it will reconsider its approach to a forthcoming, live-action remake of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" in the wake of Peter Dinklage's recent criticism of the project. During a conversation with Marc Maron on the Jan. 24 edition of the comic's podcast, Peter said he was "taken aback" to learn producers "were very proud to cast a Latina actress (Rachel Zegler) as Snow White," but had failed to see how offensive the story itself could be to another minority. "It makes no sense to me. You're progressive in one way, but then you're still making that f****** backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together. What the f*** are you doing, man?" Peter asked. "Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I'm not loud enough." But it seems his voice was heard this time. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, a Disney rep said "cultural consultants" have been hired and the dwarves were being reevaluated from "the earliest stages" of the project. "To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community," the rep told THR. "We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period." Gal Gadot is also set to appear in the film, which goes into production this summer.
Tarek El Moussa, Heather Rae Young hope to welcome their first child together 'within a year'
Three months into their marriage, Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are ready to expand their family in whatever way they can. "Originally when we first met, it was like I said, 'No I don't want any kids.' He said, no more kids for him. So we were on the exact same page," Heather recently told Entertainment Tonight. "Well, fast forward two-and-a-half years … you know …" Laughing, Tarek chimed in, "Someone changed the page." The "Flip or Flop" host shares an 11-year-old daughter, Taylor, and a 6-year-old son, Brayden, with his co-star and ex, Christina Haack. While Heather hadn't planned to have children before marrying Tarek, she told ET her "love for Taylor and Brayden" and "seeing Tarek as a daddy" changed her mind. "And then I started thinking, 'How could I not have one of my own and with the man that I love?'" she said. "You never know how the future's gonna [go], where it's gonna take you." Tarek changed his tune about more kids, too, after seeing what "a rock star [step]-mom" Heather was. "The kids are obsessed with her and I was on my own for a really long time, and the way I look at life has changed a lot," he explained. Because Heather, 34, learned she had a "low egg count" in her 20s and Tarek, 40, is a testicular cancer survivor, the two have been using IVF. "It's definitely been rough," Heather said, recounting how she's had to give herself needles three times a day while dealing with intense hormonal changes. If the couple isn't able to conceive "the fun, natural way, then the embryos are the backup," Tarek said. He added that they hope to be on their way to welcoming a child "within a year," sparking Heather to jump in and ask, "Next month!?" Tarek and Heather announced their engagement in 2020; they tied the knot last year.
Whoopi Goldberg calls out Bill Maher for 'flippant' comments about COVID-19 safety
Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the week by slamming Bill Maher for negative comments he recently made about COVID-19 safety protocols on his show. On "Real Time With Bill Maher" last week, Bill balked at the use of masks and vaccine checks in his monologue. "I don't want to live in your paranoid world anymore. Your masked, paranoid world," he said. "You know you go out, it's silly now. You know, you have to have your mask, you have to have a card, you have to have a booster. They scan your head like you're a cashier and I'm a bunch of bananas. I'm not bananas — you are." Whoopi, who only just returned to work after testing positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19, pointed out that people are still dying of the disease — and some of those people can't be vaccinated because of their age or immune system status. "That's not really funny to people who have lost their kids to this … or people who have lost family members or dear friends to this," Whoopi said. "Listen, nobody on the planet really wants to go through this. This is not something we're doing because it's sexually gratifying. This is what we're doing to protect our families. And you don't have to do it, but stay away from everybody, because if you're the one who's not paying attention, and you're coughing and sneezing … then stay out of the public, man. Nobody wants this," she continued. "And I think he's forgetting that people are still at risk who cannot get vaccinated," Whoopi added. "Little kids, under the age of five, or people with health conditions. How dare you be so flippant, man?" Bill tested positive for COVID-19 in May 2021. He and Whoopi have both been inoculated against the virus, according to People.
