Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late April and early May 2022, starting with this off-and-on couple… Say it ain't so! On the May 5 episode of "The Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian confirmed rumors from late last year that she and Tristan Thompson secretly reconciled around the time that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged in mid-October 2021 — after the reality star and the professional basketball player faced multiple cheating scandals earlier in the year but before she learned he was expecting a child with another woman. "We're good. We're actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He's been going to therapy a lot. There's just been a lot of effort on his part," she said while explaining why Tristan was on hand when the blink-182 drummer proposed to her big sis. "When we broke up, I learned how well him and I got along and what good friends we are and what good partners we are, and I have a lot of hope and faith and optimism for our future together," she continued, according to Page Six, adding that things are "so fun" when they're together. Khloe reportedly dumped Tristan in June 2021 amid a flurry of reports he'd been unfaithful. If they were solid by October, it stands to reason they were still together when the news broke in December that he was expecting a baby with Maralee Nichols.

On April 28, Katie Holmes was snapped smooching and holding hands with Bobby Wooten III, who's a decade her junior, during an outing in New York City. (See photos here.) The 33-year-old musician was also photographed hugging the 43-year-old actress's mother, indicating he and Katie have been seeing each other for a while. In fact, HollywoodLife reported on April 30 that, according to a source, the "Dawson's Creek" alum is "absolutely smitten" with the bass player. "Katie was not looking for this to happen and she has been happy living her life and focusing on raising [her daughter Suri Cruise]," said the source. "So when Bobby came into her life, she was apprehensive at first. But she agreed to go on a date with him because there was a mutual attraction and one date turned into two, which turned into three. And now here they are. … He is romantic and charming. Katie is allowing herself to feel these feelings and she knows that she is deserving of love. She is open to the possibility of having her happily ever after and although they are in the beginning stages of their romance, he gives her butterflies, which is all that any woman can hope for really." The insider added that Bobby has hung out with Katie's mother "multiple times" and has "only left a good impression" on her family and friends. "Everyone who meets him adores him," said the source.

I am sad every time I go to bed at night. … Divorce sucks. I don't recommend it, but at the end of the day, you know, it's not like we didn't try and I know we gave it a good shot." She went on to say that she's "trying to get back in the [dating] game" — a process she plans to chronicle on her upcoming "Burke in the Game" podcast. "It's been a while. … The word 'dating' makes me want to throw up a little bit right now, so I'm clearly not ready for that, but eventually, hopefully I'll find love," she said, adding that she hasn't "been on the dating scene since before dating apps were invented" and that she's "definitely not" open to looking for love on a dating app. "I just find it so disgusting. On April 30 — at the baby shower for their first child, a son who's due in June — former "The Challenge" stars Kam Williams and Leroy Garrett announced that they're engaged. A few days later, the bride-to-be took to Instagram to celebrate their engagement, captioning a joint post featuring a montage of highlights from their relationship so far, "The easiest yes I've ever said. One of our favorite quotes has always been to 'trust the process.' Sometimes I really sit back and look at how God works. To start out on a dating show [MTV's 'Are You the One?'] to find love which I didn't at the time, but it led me to the love of my life. To years of you competing and us finding love on that game ['The Challenge']. We both found something that we didn't go looking for and that just came naturally. We aren't perfect and I wouldn't trade any of our ups and downs for anything. Kam and Lee back in 2017 wouldn't fathom where we are now, but honestly I'm not surprised, because like we've always known deep down there was just always something there that always kept us coming back together. It was definitely God and the universe. You've changed me into a better woman and I can't thank you enough for it. Love you always and I love spending forever with you already." Kam and Leroy have dated off and on for years — since they first connected on 2018's "The Challenge: Vendettas."
