Dancing in the desert! Leonardo DiCaprio, Irina Shayk and more stars were spotted partying at Coachella 2023.
The annual music and arts festival kicked off its first weekend on Friday, April 14, in Indio, California, and featured performances by Bad Bunny, Blink-182, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Rosalía and more.
Concerts aren’t the only attraction Coachella has to offer — the parties are just as buzzy. Marc Jacobs and Alastair McKimm hosted a pre-party at Viking Villa in Palm Springs on Saturday, April 15, where an onlooker spotted the Revenant star, 48, drinking with friends.
According to the source, DiCaprio later chatted with the Russian model, 37, who was dancing with Stella Maxwell at a nearby table. He shared a few “cheek kisses” with Bradley Cooper‘s ex before the end of the night.
Shayk dated the Silver Linings Playbook actor from 2015 to 2019, welcoming daughter Lea De Seine in 2017. DiCaprio, meanwhile, was linked to Gigi Hadid in late 2022, and the pair were recently spotted hanging out at an Oscars party in March. (Us Weekly confirmed the Wolf of Wall Street actor’s split from Camila Morrone in August 2022. She attended Revolve Festival during Coachella weekend with her Daisy Jones & the Six costar Suki Waterhouse, who dated Cooper from 2013 to 2015.)
Along with A-listers, reality stars and influencers enjoyed the events at Coachella’s first weekend. Ariana Madix was spotted walking hand in hand with Vanderpump Rules costars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies for a Celsius bash on day one. Per the insider, the 37-year-old bartender appeared “unbothered” in the wake of her split from Tom Sandoval.
The former couple dated for nine years before Us confirmed in March that they called it quits amid his cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss. Madix raised eyebrows at the music festival after sharing an Instagram Story pic of her holding hands with a mystery man, later identified as personal trainer Daniel Wai.
While Bravo fans think the pair’s Coachella content qualified as a relationship soft launch, the twosome have yet to address their status. TMZ obtained footage of Madix and the fitness expert packing on the PDA in the crowd on Sunday, April 16, after they previously posed for a cozy selfie.
Shawn Mendes and ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello also sent the internet into a frenzy when they were spotted looking “like a couple” on the festival’s first night. The musicians, who dated for two years before splitting in 2021, attempted to “stay out of sight” at a VIP table during Burna Boy‘s performance.
“They weren’t holding hands, but stayed together all night,” the eyewitness told Us, adding that Mendes, 24, and Cabello, 26, were “making out” at the show.
Despite their PDA, the pair dodged a question about whether they’re officially back together as they walked the festival grounds, per a Twitter video.
