THE I'm A Celebrity stars arrived at Gwrych Castle under the cover of darkness in a huge convoy.

The popular ITV show has moved from the Australian jungle to the haunted castle in Wales due to travel restrictions.

The stars were finally seen entering the I'm A Celebrity castle while shrouded in darkness.

The several car convoy trailed all the way back through the country road as security checked every single car.

The stars will welcome this reprieve from the hectic activities - as a group of them were made to abseil into camp.

The challenge was so scary that Radio 1 DJ Jordan North was repeatedly sick before taking part.

Father-of-two Vernon Kay, 46, was seen rubbing the 30-year-old’s back after the challenge got too much for him.

The task was the first part of their entrance into Gwrych Castle, more than an hour’s drive away.

The ten contestants were split into two groups, with Jordan’s cohort including EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer, 28, newsreader Victoria Derbyshire, 52, and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher, 36.

The other half of the initial ten going into the show - Sir Mo Farah, 38, Beverley Callard, 63, Shane Richie, 56, Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard, 26, and Paralympian Hollie Arnold, 26 - took part in a separate secret task elsewhere on the Welsh island.

That's not the only traumatic thing they have to deal with as the castle itself is said to be haunted.

Not only that, but the shower situation has gotten incredibly worse.

The stars entering Gwyrch Castle in Abergele won't be treated to an idyllic waterfall shower, instead having to clean themselves in a rusty old bath.

What's worse, the I'm A Celeb campers will have to ask someone else to pump the water while they get clean.

They'll also have to stoke the boiler twice a day in order to generate the heat.

In order to get to the bathroom, the celebrities will have to walk up to the stone bathroom in the haunted castle.

They'll have a rusty tub and a dirty shower curtain for coverage - with a watering can dripping out barely warm water.
