It’s official fall 2021, which means PSLs, plaid trenches and weekend sleep-ins on dreary days are upon us. But with seasonally warm temps breaking records from coast to coast, no one seems ready to fold up their summery dresses, bike shorts or cropped tanks and tuck them away for next season. Not yet, anyway.
Celebrities in LA, New York, London and beyond all kept up with late summer fashions, despite the calendar telling us it’s officially autumn. Supermodel Jourdan Dunn brought the hot hot heat to the British Fashion Council’s Changemakers Prize event during London Fashion Week in a wavy strapless dress while Christine Chiu showed no signs of retiring her crop top sets.
Other stars did start to introduce fall elements into their fits, though, like the Hadid sisters who were both spotted in Manhattan looking equally on point—Gig in a fuzzy bucket hat and Bella in loose plaid.
Still, if these above-average temps keep it up, it’ll be months before any of us roll out our usual autumn attire.
