Are you going to be Louisville area this afternoon? If so, you’ll have the opportunity to watch a slew of athletes, celebrities, and current Kentucky players in a charity kickball event.

“The Homies” (a Louisville-based rap quartet consisting of Quiiso, Shloob, Ace Pro, and 2forwOyNE) are bringing back their annual Celebrity Kickball game at the Jim Patterson Baseball Stadium. This will be the fourth edition of the event, which begins at 2:00 p.m. EST and ends with a championship game around 5:30 p.m. EST.

Among the celebrities expected to attend will be Louisville native/top-selling rap artist Jack Harlow, along with the likes of Miss USA Elle Smith, TikTok creators The McFarland Family, video director Cole Bennett, actor Shiggy, and many more. Sports broadcaster Taylor Rooks will host the event.

But that’s not all. A group of high-profile athletes intend to make an appearance, including former Kentucky men’s basketball point guard Tyler Ulis, who is now a member of the coaching staff as a student assistant. Joining Ulis will be several members of the current Kentucky roster, including the likes of Justin Edwards, Adou Thiero, Reed Sheppard, Jordan Burks, and others.

The team was already in Louisville on Saturday to sign autographs at local Kroger locations, so they decided to pop on over for some kickball fun.

Louisville women’s basketball head coach Jeff Walz, former Louisville men’s basketball forward Jordan Nwora, and former Louisville quarterback Chris Redman will also participate.

“Beyond monetary donations, The Homies Celebrity Kickball tournament seeks to inspire our city’s youth by showcasing the incredible talent Louisville and the great state of Kentucky has produced,” Drew Thomas, a spokesperson for the event, told the Courier-Journal. “From music artists and sports stars to business leaders and cultural influencers, you can become anything you want if you believe in yourself and work hard.”

After raising over $30,000 for local charities a year ago, the event is hoping to pull in even more money this time around. All funds will go to Louisville-based children and family organizations — Sowing Seed with Faith and Harmony Home Family Resource Center.

Tickets start at $15 and are available through Ticketmaster. Doors open at 1 p.m. EST. The Jim Patterson Baseball Stadium is located at 3015 S. Third St. in Louisville, KY.
